1. I support this ERO - to amend cottage leases to 14 years duration.
- Cottagers have been stewarts of Rondeau since its inception and have a rightful place in it. Cottagers should not feel threatened by economic eviction - that is, the provincial government should not be able to raise lease rates beyond that of inflation.

2. Future lease agreements should be drafted WITH leadership from the Rondeau Cottagers Association - not simply presented to them after the fact.

3. We are still waiting for the promised pathway to 'long-term occupation' of the cottage lots as promised in early 2020. 14 years is a good start but not the same as 'long-term occupation'.
