As a person who is very much against the use of bottled water, I am only slightly impressed by this proposal. In fact the companies that are sucking our city and surrounding areas dry and making enormous profits from this action, should never have been allowed to do this in the first place. But, what is done is done, now it is necessary for the citizens of this country to be given back their water rights. Scientists have given us only 12 years to stop climate change. Our world is being destroyed by plastics as well. Another reason to stop bottled water from being sold. We have been told that wars will erupt over water rights in many places that share bodies of water, is this what we have to look forward to?? Economic disaster is predicted as the climate warming continues. I have grandchildren, and I want their world to be safe for them and future generations. Please, stop this practice by these mega corporations NOW!! A start would be to ban the sale of the 500 ml, 750 ml and litre bottles. Respectfully, Sandra.
