I am a descendent of the Kuckatoosh Indian Band today known as Flying Post 73. There is already too much mining in the area and exploration happening without and consultation to community members. The area needs to have a regional assessment as the cumulative effects of Mining, exploration, forestry, and hydro dams have negatively affected my treaty rights to the land that I and my family depend on. The traditional area of the Kuckatoosh band today is recognized as Flying Post 73. The land can not support any more exploration or development.
