The proposed bill is an appalling attack on our province’s environments, plants and animals. It is shortsighted and while claiming to benefit the economy for all Ontarians, it will surely only line the pockets of developers. The administration that has put forward this bill sorely lacks an understanding of what habitat and preserved green spaces mean for the people of this province. I find it incredibly nefarious that this bill has been proposed under the radar while the majority of Ontarians are focused on the American trade war and Federal election. Please reflect on who this bill serves and whether Ontarians and our precious wildlife actually will benefit.
