I am commenting on Schedule…

I am commenting on Schedule 8 of this Act, which abolishes the requirement for a minimum level of public consultation on environmentally significant projects. This peice of legislation is clearly meant to benefit the private sector and remove accountability from government for protecting our public lands and waters from degradation. This ammendment is not in the public interest or in the interest of the environment, both of which are in dire need of protection and care. I call on the government to remove schedule 8 from the Act.
