I am commenting on this proposal to clearly object to the proposed exemptions from the Environmental Bill of Rights that will remove the right of Ontarians to be advised of, or to comment on, any required permits at Ontario Place, on or off site, to support the project.

Ontarians have already expressed their thoughtful, reasonable, well-informed, concern about the degradation of this waterfront ecosystem and provided common-sense alternatives to this project. The move to deny Ontarians their right to participate in this process displays a lack of regard for the public interest and environmental stability, and signals a misguided prioritization of private-sector profit.
