What's the point of having laws if you then create bills for the purpose of avoiding them?

Ontarians deserve a clean and protected environment for generations to come, and this bill allows the government to bypass the checks and balances required to make that happen.

The lack of consultation with First Nations, especially on the topic of mining in the Ring of Fire, is shocking. No such bill can be passed without first nation input at the drafting stage. This is NOT an "ask for permission, not for forgiveness" situation.
