As a young person who has lived in the Province of Ontario for his whole life, there has never been a single piece of proposed legislation that has made me as worried for the future of our planet as this act. It seeks to violate the Environmental Bill of Rights and inherent Indigenous rights under the guise of economic prosperity. This is not the way.

Risking Ontario’s wildlife is not the way to combat Donald Trump. Removing protections Ontario’s ecosystems is not the way to promote economic growth. Trampling Indigenous rights is not the way to make your citizens have faith in the leadership of the province.
