Public appeal is important…

Public appeal is important and having proposals peer reviewed by environmental experts is responsible and common sense. The public has a right to know how their funds are being used by their representatives and have a chance to comment on anything they are concerned about. We have a responsibility to honour the original stewards of the land and make sure our projects are safe for the environement and can benefit all. Something I would add is to also involve local indigenous leaders in these reviews and proposals.
