Every province has their own unique landscapes hence the need for separate protections from the federal ones. Other provinces do not border the Great Lakes or sit beside an ocean. Ontario needs regulations on toxic reduction in addition to the federal regulations.
Also, why is the Ontario government so sure that toxic reduction legislation is a "job killer?" Where is the evidence of this claim?
