This needs to be regulated and still managed. All projects should still have to go through environmental impact planning and adhere to all relevant laws. This should NOT provide blanket authority to develop anywhere regardless of zoning laws etc. I understand we need to develop our economy and even housing but not at a loss of the environment, safety and impact on surrounding infrastructure.
