I oppose the proposed exemption of the rebuilding of Ontario Place from the second part of the Environmental Bill of Rights, which would allow projects to proceed without public consultation. The public has the right to be informed of and participate in the development of projects that have the potential to affect them or the environment in which they live.

I urge the government of Ontario to abandon the changes proposed in this Act.
