Inexcusable! As someone with a PhD in Environmental Sciences and Public Policy and a research program focused on wildlife physiology, including wildlife toxicology, it is my expert opinion that the repeal of this act is detrimental to the current and future health of the environment and our future. Governments can no longer prioritize short term profits over long term health. The science is clear - regulations limiting, or better yet eliminating, toxins in the environment is what is best for our health and the health of our children. This is not Trump’s country, it is ours and our health is important. I’ve heard the Ford government thinks protecting the environment is a job killer. Not protecting the environment is a killer, period!
