The development of the Ring of Fire is a terrible idea and would be catastrophic for the world. The peatlands should be protected as they are so important for storing carbon. These protections were put in place for very important reasons. Developing incredibly important areas like this one does not make sense, if the air we breathe is contaminated. We are at a crossroads. Create a world that will make the future brighter for our children, not a hotter, more polluted and unstable one.
