I participated in protests opposing this bill all week, and we received overwhelming support to stop bill 5. Pages of signatures, continuous honking, and engaged with shocked citizens who were unaware of this sneaky bill.

We will not allow profit driven interests to override the values of Ontarians. You tried to pave the greenbelt and we were loud and clear that we did not consent to that outrageous plan, so to propose this bill knowing how we feel is an insult and betrayal to the people you are elected to serve.

Do better, and actually protect Ontario, don't be the threat against it.
