I am in strong opposition to this proposal. We have an Environmental Registry for a reason. Seeing it as some obstacle to progress or development is incredibly short sighted. One recent example from the registry is a request to extract over 6 million liters of water per day from a well in Glengarry. It would be completely undemocratic to do something like this without any public consultation.

There is no point in protecting Ontario if you are willing to throw away its future. Repeal this bill.
