As a Torontonian I am in opposition to Bill 5 which is seeking to bypass the Environmental Bill of Rights, 1993 and trying to take shortcuts. The requirements for giving public notice and opportunities for comment, for proposals for provincial permits and approvals related to the Ontario Place redevelopment project, or that further the project (i.e., not at the site) should stay in place. Proposals for these permits and approvals should be required to be posted to the Environmental Registry of Ontario.
Cease Bill 5 at all costs!
