I am deeply concerned that our provincial government would pass this bill, opening the way for business development to supersede our safety in terms of clean water and our agricultural land to be paved over in the name of progress. Ontario has been innovative in creating greenspace around our urban areas and this bill would promote long lasting damage that can never be reversed. The last conservative government until Mike Harris gave us Walkerton. No citizen wants to repeat that devasting mistake.
