This is our home beach. We’ve been a resident on Allenwood for 6 years and this shoreline and Provincial Park is one of the most beautiful along the 14km stretch. It’s also home to many protected native plant and bird species.
The thought of it being threatened or “owned” by a capacity that could change it for financial gain is scary and a detriment to our community and the environment.
The area already designated for development (Beach 1) remains sufficient for tourism purposes. Community members and day trippers alike appreciate having untouched, undeveloped natural landscapes to frequent and enjoy. By keeping this stretch Provincial Park we maintain the integrity of its beauty and place in the environment. Please keep this whole.
