I do not support the transfer of the shoreline areas of beaches 1 and 2 to the town of Wasaga Beach. The beach should remain open to all visitors and locals alike, as should the beautiful treed areas and the picnic areas. In addition it will put the areas where the endangered Piping Plovers nest in jeopardy. These areas should definitely remain under the purview of Ministry of Natural Resources and Birds Canada. It is critical that these undeveloped areas be kept out of the hands of developers.
