I am glad Wasaga is getting some development. However, I do hope that there is a clear understanding that they need to maintain protection of the Piping Plover nesting areas. The provincial park does an excellent job of it now. Hopefully they can be contracted by the municipality to continue this great work as I doubt the town has members of staff that are equipped to handle the work needed and know how to maintain the area so as to not destroy the habitat in the off seasons as happened in Sauble Beach.
