To whom it may concern,

I have been rock climbing outdoors for more than 15 years in Ontario and other parts of the world, and I fully support the proposed change to the Park Management Plan for Devil's Glen which legitimizes climbing.

I regularly go on climbing vacations in other parts of the world. I would appreciate more climbing opportunities in Ontario because it would increase my possibilities for vacations in my province. Rock climbing opportunities can have a positive impact on tourism because climbers need accommodations, go to restaurants, and visit shops during their trips. Especially small businesses in the area would benefit from environmentally conscious and nature loving climbers.

Rock climbing is a low-impact recreational activity and climbers are excellent stewards of the environment. Rock climbers have an interest in working together with the local community and the conservation management to achieve a safe access to rock climbing and respecting the local community.

A new parking lot at Devil's Glen would improve the current temporary parking situation.
