Good morning. I am a resident of Brampton and am pleased to submit my comment in support of this proposal. Canada, and especially Ontario, is rapidly losing natural habitats to development and pollution. So this proposal to expand natural areas for conservation and recreation is very much welcome. I cherish our nature and all it gives us - clean air, soil to grow food and medicine, biodiversity to sustain life, clean water. I want to see Ontarians live more in harmony with nature and firmly believe it's possible. Should this proposal be accepted, I would strongly encourage the respective authorities to sustain deep and meaningful collaboration with First Nations and foster opportunities for Indigenous stewardship of the land and access to important plants and species that have cultural and spiritual meaning.
