It is very pleasing to see a provincial cycling strategy and most exciting a map that cyclists can use. I would like to add my opinion as a road and MTB cyclist how important it is to include paved riding shoulders on all new highway construction. Many drivers are quite respectful of cyclists these days, but unfortunately some seem to have an axe to grind with cyclists and can make riding dangerous, so the shoulders give us that much more room. This and increased enforcement of cycling rules (for inconsiderate cyclists as well) will really help the cycling program along. Again, thanks for working through this project and asking for input, these efforts are appreciated.
