I don't agree with the proposed change. My sense is that the matters that conservation authorities manage are fundamentally local, and I'm concerned that consolidation into larger areas will adversely impact the ability of local voices to be heard. I've reviewed the Hamilton Conservation Authority's response, and I think their concerns are well founded.
