I agree 100% with Hamilton Conservation Authority's submission to the ERO. I am concerned about losing local decision-making, as I support keeping conservation decisions rooted in our community. Moreover, mergers are costly and there is no obvious plan for managing costs. This proposal smacks of the usual centralized, thoughtless control being implemented by Ford's provincial government.
