The London Cycling Club is an Ontario Cycling Association certified touring club and has been in operation for 46 years. We ride in the London area, including portions of Middlesex, Huron, Lambton, Elgin, Perth, and Oxford Counties.
We have some thoughts in terms of the roads you have selected in the London region. This includes Hyde Park Road between London and Ilderton, Highway 7 between Denfield and Parkhill, and portions of Lakeshore Road between Sarnia and Grand Bend. We as a club have long discovered not to ride on those roads, as they are generally too busy, even on Sunday mornings, even for our experienced riders. Our club rides have found roads close by which aren't nearly as busy.
Please take this into consideration as you finalize your plans.
