Water levels on Lake Scugog …

Water levels on Lake Scugog (and many other lakes in the surrounding region) were so low last year as to impede recreation, causing significant damage to boats. Climate change is likely to cause such issues moving forward. As such, I do not support this application to draw water from Lake Scugog, its tributaries or surrounding lakes. It is a resource that belongs to all of the people, not a numbered corporation that seeks to profit from it.
