Privatizing public water and wastewater infrastructure can only lead to the deterioration of infrastructure and an eventual catastrophic failure of system that will be neglected of maintenance and end of life replacement, while a select group of owners make profit and avoid accountability for failing to invest excess revenue back into the infrastructure. Do not privatize public water and wastewater infrastructure.
