I am encouraged when I see positive legislation regarding safe cycling in our province. It not only encourages cycling to Ontarians but encourages tourism. I have travelled extensively looking for cycling friendly locations. Quebec seems to have it right with lots of cycling paths. We can encourage cycling by simply having paved shoulders on our highways. I just got back from New Zealand. We rented bicycles in Christchurch because we felt safe when we saw all of the lanes dedicated to cyclists on the roads and on paths throughout the parks. There is a lot to learn. Keep up the good work.
