A Cycling Network throughout…

A Cycling Network throughout Ontario is a good move for so many reasons. 1. Tourism - Cycle Tourism is beginning to expand from just the large urban areas in Ontario. An interconnected network would allow these individual and groups to move from Community to Community in day or longer trips. 2. Transportation - Using cycles for transportation means less stress on roadways. Cyclists can use trails as well as roadways to travel to/from work and minor shopping trips. 3. Recreational Uses - Cycling can and is usually a family activity when the children are younger. As the children grow they will use their bicycles more for transportation to and from destination points. (friends houses, schools, parks, etc.) Learning to use Bicycles early means they are better able to handle roadways with vechiles as they grow. So many reasons to create this cycle network throughout Ontario. I could go on forever.
