The Industrial Emission Performance Standards goal is to reduce industrial emission, protect out environment. Why we need to protect environment? As I understand, it is for protecting human beings, animals, plants, all lives on the earth.

Canada has big land, small population, we have no reason to allow pollution industrial facility set and operate in any populated area. Keeping enough separation distance between pollution industrial facility and public members is very important, we should have law about this.

In our opinion, Ontario environmental protection first thing is the Ministry should follow EPA, never issue ECA to any industrial facility which emission causes or may cause one or more adverse effects.

Only based on the human beings, animals, plants get protected, we can talk about reducing industrial emission, otherwise we should talk about stopping the industrial emission which causes or may cause any adverse effect.
