This is a difficult issue as the First Nations community should be able to use this land freely and grow economically without the constraints of an act that perhaps was implemented without enough planning and input from First Nations groups.

That being said, if the act is repealed, it needs to be replaced with regulations and laws that both help protect our environment and respect and protect our First Nations social and cultural beliefs.
