It should be evident that conservation authorities require strengthening of their act to prevent loss due to development rather than allowing development to be streamlined or passed. They know that the regulations require a multi faceted approach as they can be complex and cross disciplines. It is necessary to have regulations, education, monitoring and implementation plans that are comprehensive not created for development only.
