I am very much against this proposed cement plant in the heart of our agricultural farming community. We know that cement producing is one of the major polluters out there. The particles coming from such an industry would cause considerable damage not only for the air we breath but also the contamination of the crops and the feed for the animals, plus what ends up in our beautiful Ottawa River. This facility is slated to be built very close to the river and whatever comes out of the air and the waste runoff would be dramatic not only for humans and animals but also for our aquatic species. We need the birds to be able to lay their eggs and watch them hatch and the frogs to flourish. This is not the place for such a facility. Please help us to put a stop to this!
