I am very much opposed to the installation on cement plant in Champlain Township because of the negative environmental consequences on our agriculture -- both crops and animals, the air we breathe, and the water we drink. The fish and birds will be negatively impacted as well. Air, water, and noise pollution will cause irreparable harm to the health of residenuts within a large radius of such an installation. Our property values will plummet, medical costs will increase, and our local governments will need much more funds to maintain our roads and infrastructures where excessive heavy vehicles will travel 24/7. Such an installation should not take place in our residential and agricultural area.
