I am commenting from a rural perspective and want to ensure that the PPS recognizes differing requirements and/or needs for urban and rural when it comes to this PPS.

I note you want to move solar farms away from agricultural land (great) and I would like to expand this so that these not have a negative affect on rural lands related to tourism as well. We want to keep our vistas in tact for the enjoyment of all and not have industrial solar or industrial wind farms visible for these tourism attractions and cottaging.

Our County (Frontenac) now have communal servicing for septic and water. This will have less impact on the environment and the aquifers providing drinking water and suggest this be a priority (if not the standard) for any new developments.

Small scale green energy should be promoted at every opportunity such as wind for vertical farms etc.
