Waterloo Region Nature (WRN) is a naturalist club for the Region of Waterloo and a charity engaged in conservation activities. One of our goals is to promote public interest in nature and its preservation by supporting enactment of wise legislation.
Ontario Nature, our umbrella organization, has made a submission to comment on the proposed changes to the Provincial Policy Statement (PPS) ERO # 019-0279 . This submission clearly outlines, in fine detail, the serious issues that arise with the proposed changes to the legislation. Waterloo Region Nature’s members share these concerns and trust you will consider some forward-thinking solutions raised in Ontario Nature’s submission.
