This is clearly a smokescreen to reduce audits and thus proper management of forests. Behind all the talk of "sustainability" it really amounts to a wink and a handshake to industry to do whatever environmental damage they want--typical of the Ford government's cynical and utter contempt for acting as a responsible steward of Ontario's natural heritage.
