Implementing a permanent black bear hunting season for economic interest is shameful. Killing a magnificent, innocent animal and justifying this disgusting act by saying it brings tourism, supports local business and controls the bear population is horrific. I would be ashamed to be Canadian if this event is made permanent. Orphaned bear cubs have an utterly cruel and lengthy road to death.
