This proposal should be approved. It will help the community have more houses, more tax assessment and will help to make the community a more affordable place to live. I don't think the market would bear the development of too many cottage lots and therefore would not have a significant impact on the lake. Cottage owners do not have a big impact on the fishing in a lake, but tourist camps do! Each time they build or expand a cabin, they are introducing way more people onto the lake than a cottage lot would, and that type of tourist camp expansion doesn't require any provincial approvals.
