From everything I have read, there is no reason to open a bear hunting season. Sport hunters can get cameras and shoot bears that way. What you are proposing will upset the balance of nature in the name of a dying industry. Our species are all disappearing as it is, we need these animals to keep our forests healthy. Don't open or extend the bear hunt.
