I strongly support the proposed new regulations on commercial water taking in Ontario in Ontario's Water Quantity Management Framework.
As a resident in the Georgian Bay area, and as an environmentalist, I am concerned about managing fresh water resources sustainably for all the humans, while protecting wildlife and many fragile ecosystems in Ontario. I would like to see more Indigenous leadership and decision making in the future, to ensure the land water and air are protected for many future generations.
