Water is the source of life…

Water is the source of life and must be managed to support the needs of the local community first. As such it is critical that all water taking permits must first have the approval of the local municipality. It is this level of government which knows the needs of the community in the present and in the future.

Local needs must supersede the needs of water bottlers at all times.

Bottling of water is unnecessary in this province a long as there remains a local supply of fresh and uncontaminated water. Filling one's own bottle from a local source saves countless plastic waste from entering our waste sites. Filling and carrying one's own water bottle also saves wear, tear and pollution generated by countless trucks on our roads hauling water to bottling plants.
