Please ensure that industrial energy conservation is included in one of the framework programs. Industry accounts for a large fraction of Ontario's energy end-use, suggesting significant opportunity for consumption savings and demand reduction. The current framework through Save-On-Energy has been sufficient, but difficult, due to the unique nature of each industrial energy conservation measure. Many of the streamlined tools are not usable, resulting in custom projects and analyses that require more in-depth technical review.
