Hello - you mention all the great benefits with electricity conservation programs without mentioned the impact on mitigating climate change. Climate change is the most pressing issue of this century. Climate change is will documented by many independent scientists. The Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change is the leading non-profit group in organizing the research by said independent scientists. Ontario needs to act on climate change and conservation programs are the mechanism for action.

As such, I expect the Province of Ontario and its Ministry of Energy, Northern Development and Mines to incorporate staunch climate change mitigation targets into any conservation programs. Inclusive of the electrical grid's greenhouse gas emissions and long term greenhouse gas emission goals. It is a wasted opportunity to address the most pertinent issue faced by humanity, if government policy and programs do not address climate change inducing greenhouse gas emissions.
