In an era of heightened awareness of health and its connection to environmental exploitation, I am incredibly disappointed that protections are being so cavalierly sidestepped. Some lawyer or politician has found a loophole in a law never meant to give the powers that are now being wielded with MZOs as they are by this conservative provincial government. As a farmer, an environmentalist and a humanist, I demand that Schedule 3 be removed from Bill 257. Progress at any cost is not worth it in this world already overburdened with the fallout of modern life.
