This is irresponsible use of land. When Ford was running for office he made proposals to open up the green belt and the morraine and quickly backtracked on that, publicly, in order to gain votes. Most Ontarians saw this as a bad idea and still do see this as a bad idea. Now that he is in office he is backtracking on his backtracking and kow-towing to the corporations and his monied friends. When he can find another aquifer to supply drinking water to the largest city in Canada, to the people in the highest concentration of population in Canada, then by all means, dig on baby, but until then LEAVE THE MORAINE ALONE.
