We should not be cancelling a program that does so much good for Ontarians and at the same time helps the environment by reducing emissions. This program generated thousands of jobs, generated Billions of dollars from corporate polluters and provided Ontarians with many incentives to purchase products that were better for the environment and saved them money.
Why in the world would Ontarians prefer $260 in annual savings and a reduction in 10 cents in gas when they were receiving thousands of dollars in incentives to purchase products that were better for the environment (including vehicles that made them get off of gas COMPLETELY, lightbulbs, thermostats etc) and that saved them much more money than the $260 in annual savings generated by cancelling the program? Cancelling the cap & trade program is simply wrong.
I do NOT want you to cancel Cap & Trade.
