The draft Forest Biomass Action Plan is a step in the right direction to encourage the use of forest biomass and realize high value opportunities. Canada and Ontario are part of a global movement to decarbonize fossil fuel dependent industries, and this is an opportunity for research, development and innovative use of forest biofuel. The circular economy in the forest sector is important and commendable, however development of stand alone, independent facilities needs more support particularly if in the green energy sector. Pleased to see an emphasis on regulatory burden reduction.
